People & Culture Business Partner

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a high-impact, mission-driven organisation dedicated to solving complex global challenges through innovation and discovery.

As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will act as a critical bridge between strategic objectives and people capabilities. Reporting to an engaging Chief People Officer, you will help shape the teams that drive this organisation’s mission forward.

The Role

This is a "hands-on" partnership role where you will move beyond transactional HR to act as a strategic enabler. Your primary focus will be split between:

• Organisational Effectiveness: Partnering with leaders to design and implement team structures that optimise effectiveness.

• Leadership Coaching: Providing 1:1 coaching to enhance capability and navigating complex performance management to achieve high-standard outcomes.

• Strategic Workforce Planning: Leading labour planning initiatives to ensure the right talent is in place to meet long-term growth and immediate operational needs.

• Operational Excellence: Applying structured change management and project governance to transition staff through organisational shifts with high engagement.

• Risk & Legislative Guidance: Providing expert guidance on Australian employment law to resolve sensitive matters while achieving respectful outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience as a HR Generalist or Business Partner (3+ years) ideally within a complex technical or highly regulated environment. We are looking for a professional with a "brave" and collaborative attitude—someone who acts with integrity, communicates openly, and isn't afraid to do the hard things to achieve extraordinary results
